Dopamine jailbreak tool updated to version 1.1.4 with more improvements

Dopamine jailbreak lead developer Lars Fröder (@opa334dev) released an updated version of the tool on Saturday, officially bringing it up to version 1.1.4.

Dopamine jailbreak updated to version 1.1.4.

Fröder announced the latest update on X, formerly Twitter, with a link to the project’s GitHub page so that users can effortlessly find the latest version.

Citing the change log, it would appear that Dopamine v1.1.4 brings with it the following changes:

– Fix unreliability when jailbreaking on A14 (1.1.3 regression)
– Make forkfix only load when absolutely neccessary rather than inside every single process that is able to fork (This should decrease spinlock panic frequency back to how it was on pre-1.1, but tweaks with C function hooks will obviously still cause it, also the effectiveness of this change has not been confirmed yet, but at least it shouldn’t make anything worse)

From what we can gather, the update is intended to bring stability improvements and enhance the user experience.

The Dopamine jailbreak is a semi-untethered jailbreak that makes use of TrollStore to remain permanently signed on the device. It’s a rootless jailbreak, and it supports A12-A15 chip-equipped devices running iOS & iPadOS versions 15.0-15.4.1.

If you’re already a Dopamine jailbreak user, then you can download and install the latest version directly from the app by following the in-app prompts. Anyone who isn’t already taking advantage of Dopamine can follow our step-by-step tutorial to get started.
